The war in Ukraine and other ongoing conflicts such as in Afghanistan, South Sudan, and Syria are tearing lives apart every day. Currently, worldwide, over 100 million people have been forced to flee their home to find peace and safety. This is a number that should have never been reached.
La Tour Geneva Triathlon and UNHCR, the UN refugee agency, have joined forces since 2019 to help people forced to flee their home. Since 1950, UNHCR has saved millions of lives and helped rebuild a future for refugees around the world. UNHCR works to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safety having fled violence, persecution, war, or disaster.
Today, let’s stand with refugees, wherever they come from. We invite you to run, swim and bike in the La Tour Geneva Triathlon and make a donation through Switzerland for UNHCR website here or when you register.
This year, together with you, we aim to collect CHF 22’500 to support 40 displaced families in desperate need of shelter and humanitarian aid.

With just a few francs, you can help provide:
a set of blankets and sleeping mats to a family in Syria that might otherwise sleep on the cold hard ground;
a hygienic set to one displaced family in Yemen;
cash assistance to a refugee from Ukraine to purchase essential items.
We aim to collect CHF 22´500 together to provide emergency shelter to 40 families forced to flee.
