The La Tour Geneve Triathlon features five race formats in the heart of downtown Geneva for triathletes of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re experienced in triathlon, new to the sport, or simply looking for a challenge, there’s a race format for you.
Each race will see participants compete on a professionally-designed and closed-road course in the heart of Geneva – swimming in Lake Geneva, cycling along the lake and up the event’s infamous Chemin de l’Impératrice, and running along the shores of the lake.

Our ‘Relay’ options on each adult race format allows you to to take part with training partners, friends, colleagues or family members. Three team members, three sports, one race. Each team member races over one leg of the event, so you can all take part and enjoy the race together.
Take part in your first Triathlon over the Discovery distance in Geneva. Swim 250m in the lake, cycle 7km and run 2.5km on the same course as the longer distance races. The perfect race distance for younger triathletes and for those wishing to try out the sport.
Take on the Short Distance triathlon featuring 500m of swimming, 20km of cycling and 5km of running in the stunning city of distance. A fast race for experienced triathletes and a great challenge for those looking to test out a new sport.
The Standard is the ‘original’ triathlon distance. Featuring 1.5km of swimming, 40km of cycling and 10km of running, you can race over the same distance that the world’s best athletes race at the olympic games.
The Half will see participants take on the first Half Distance Triathlon event taking place on the Lac Leman. Featuring 1.9km of swimming, 90km of cycling and 21.1km of running - challenge yourself on a beautiful and fast course in the heart of Geneva.
